Elm City Phoenix Club

Elm City Phoenix Club is a new sober/recovery club that will be located at 433 Chapel St in New Haven, Ct. This will be a clubhouse setting intended as a fun and safe environment for people in recovery. We also have a beautiful studio space that can be used for yoga, meditation, or dance/moving-meditation meetings. We will be holding special events like dances, open mics, and parties. Eventually,

we would like to have lots of fun stuff like a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and hopefully a digital projector for movie nights. Board/card games will be a constant (no gambling please). The place is enormous and gorgeous (and we have a big parking lot!). If all goes well, you can come see it soon! There is a huge amount of potential for a club to be successful in New Haven. We hope that you will help us get this off the ground. We will be needing furniture, most of all metal folding chairs and tables! We are hoping for some comfy couches and chairs for a lounge area. We would like to set up a coffee bar. We could really use a display fridge for sodas/waters. This is just the very beginning of our wish list. Most importantly, there are a lot of initial expenses to get this thing going, so we really need help!!!! Anything you can spare will help. All money donated goes directly to fund the club. We are all volunteers, so no one is getting paid. The club is currently in the process of becoming an official nonprofit organization. We are hoping you will help us to help the community. Alcoholism, drug addiction, and other forms of addiction rip families and individuals apart. We are trying to change lives by providing a safe place for healthy activities and a venue for 12 Step groups, and we are really hoping to have lots of fun doing it!
