As we shared yesterday, our Executive Director will be leaving next week, and therefore we have made the decision to temporarily pause the CT Beer Trail prizes until further notice. You will have until 8/31 to redeem your prizes in the app, and at that point everything will be shipped to you. We are still catching up on prizes over the last few months, so keep an eye out in your mailboxes! We will be taking the proper time to reevaluate the passport program to ensure everyone has a positive experience moving forward. Cheers!

We're sad to announce that our Executive Director, Phil, will be leaving the Connecticut Brewers Guild effective September 2nd.

From Phil: "Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity to work in this position during the last 5+ years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience and appreciate all the opportunities that have been presented to me over that time. It’s been a pleasure working with the Board of Directors, our wonderful breweries, small businesses, legislators, and all our consumers these past 5 years. There have been a ton of highlights of my career with the Guild, helping to build and grow our incredible industry to where it is today, and assisting small businesses grow to their full potential. This experience is something that I will never forget."

We’re extremely heartbroken to share the news that Candlewood Brewing will be unfortunately closing its doors in early July 😔 We’ve unfortunately seen too many close their doors over the last couple of years, which is why it’s more important than ever to get out there and support your local brewery! While the pandemic seems to be over, our small breweries and businesses continue to struggle, and your support and patronage goes so far! So please plan to visit a CT brewery this weekend, being a friend or two, and keep supporting our local breweries! 🙏🍻

We have made the hard decision to close our doors in early July. We have met many amazing friends in our taproom since we opened in January of 2021.

We thank our all of our community members for the opportunity to live out our passion and hope to continue many of the incredible friendships we have built during our time in business.

Hi everyone, we have some GREAT news, we will be removing the COVID Guidelines for our 2022 CT Craft Beer Fest! Therefore, we will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry to the event! In order to continue providing a safe environment, our staff will continue to use caution and pour beer directly from cans/pitchers, limiting the amount of touching between glassware.

Between sessions from 4pm - 5:30pm, the Oakdale staff and crew will still be doing a deep clean of the building including bathrooms, trash receptacles, entrances, booth spaces, and sanitizing and cleaning all high touch surfaces.
