Sunday morning’s half marathon in Cheshire, carved along the winding canal and over rolling hills. Each climb was a test of will, each mile a step further from the long shadow of winter.
The spoils told the tale of a battle well fought: a victory claimed in the women’s open race, a hard-fought second place in the men’s, and the Masters crown seized on the men’s side
Highlights:
• Jake Jayworth .jayworth – 2nd overall, 1:12:22. A legend of the road and true super dad, steady and unshaken from start to finish
• Andie Condie – 1st overall female, 1:17:18 PR. The captain, leading from the front, delivering a breakthrough performance alongside friends.
• Miche Palmer – 1st non-binary, 1:29:31. Running with grit and purpose, holding strong from start to finish and making their mark on the day

This was only the second race of the season, yet already the signs are clear: the long winter has passed, and with it, hesitation. What lies ahead is speed, fire, and the unfolding of something greater. Next up we head to a ‘lil ‘ole street named Spring for a fast mile…
