Elephant In The Room Boxing Club (EIR) Elephant in the Room (EIR) is a non-profit, co-ed boxing gym that offers adult and youth boxing that incorporates an after school program & social work.

Inspire. Empower. Transform. We’re building champions in and out of the ring—one round at a time. Elephant In The Room Boxing Club (EIR) is a non-profit gym located in New Haven, Connecticut. EIR's founder and Executive Director Devonne Canady is the First and only Gold medalist World Champion in the sport of amateur boxing for nine years. The objective of the boxing club is to attract and involve more young people in the sport of amateur boxing. To provide positive choices for the youth which will then have a positive affect on the community. United States Boxing Association will serve as a platform so that our program will foster sportsmanship, confidence, discipline, and teamwork.

Levi stepped into that ring for the VERY FIRST TIME and came ready to WORK! 💪🏾🥊 He fought hard, stayed aggressive, and was ahead on ALL of the judges’ scorecards when the fight had to be stopped because of a severe nosebleed.

The fight may have ended early, but Levi showed heart, toughness, skill, and determination from that opening bell. And to do all of that in your FIRST fight?! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Levi! This is only the beginning. You got that first-fight experience under your belt, and now it’s back to the gym to keep building! 🥊💯
