What if the future our children deserve requires adults to unlearn first?

CWYC and the Brave Nature Collaborative are launching a monthly learning circle for parents, caregivers, educators, organizers, and allied adults ready to heal, grow, and show up differently with young people.

Together, we will practice unlearning harmful habits, ideologies, and internalized narratives the system has taught us while building deeper skills in listening, accountability, community care, and intergenerational partnership.

This space is about healing from adultism, racism, ableism, patriarchy, and other harmful “isms” so we can better support the leadership and brilliance of young people as we build a more liberated future together. ✨

All school routes and walkout times are officially live. Every hallway, every classroom, every block, we’re showing up together for education and economic justice.

This is bigger than one school. This is about all of us students, teachers, and staff standing united against underfunding, against a broken ECS formula, and for schools that invest in care, not cops.

Find your school. Know your route. Be on time. Stay together. Stay disciplined.

ONE DAY AWAY.

They tried intimidation. They tried fear. All they did was light a fire. Students are more ready, more united, and more energized than ever.

This is bigger than one school. This is about all of us — students, teachers, and workers standing together for the resources and respect we deserve.

Students are not a threat. We are organized, we are united, and we are done being ignored.

On May 1, we walk out together. Not just for ourselves, but in solidarity with our teachers, school staff, and everyone fighting for fully resourced schools and dignity in education. This is a working class fight and we are on the same side.

They want fear to keep us quiet. We choose each other instead. There is power in our numbers and we are ready to use it.

This May Day student walkout is peaceful, youth-led, and rooted in solidarity with workers and oppressed communities. Know your school’s policies and be aware there may be consequences like unexcused absences or discipline.

We move together, we stay nonviolent, and we show up for a future where young people are heard. Meet us on the Green at 10:30 AM.

On May Day, working-class youth are walking out because our schools, our homes, and our futures are not for sale. We are done with underfunded education, displacement, policing in our classrooms, and systems that punish instead of care. We are demanding fully funded schools, housing as a human right, protection for migrant families, real investment in healing, and power in the hands of young people and workers.

This is bigger than a walkout. This is a line in the sand.

We organize. We strike. We build power.
All power to the people.
