From 2022–2025, we built a workforce development program for high school students as a Career ConneCT grantee funded by with the CT Office of Workforce Strategy.
Through hands-on learning and exposure to real career pathways, students built technical skills, interpersonal and organizational skills, and clarity about what to pursue next academically, professionally, and personally.

We are beyond proud of our 6-month graduates. In total: these six students collectively made 15 projects, used 38 tools, conducted 96 teach back sessions, completed 111 courses, gave 156 presentations, and wrote in total ~42k lines of code.

Last week, Abhinav Piratla and Devanshi Tandel got to attend a Cybersecurity Immersion Day as representatives from dae.

"We created an immersive, gamified learning experience where students ‘escaped’ from a virtual AI research lab by completing five hands-on challenges. Over 45 minutes, participants explored fundamental AI concepts through interactive web-based activities that required fun coding experience.”
