Welp! Ending 2025 on a high note, I'm reflecting on the incredible journey I've had - caring for my baby girl and helping launch new IBCLCs of Color. There were lessons learned, pivots made, and moments of growth. My purpose is bigger than me, and I'm driven to support families with care that's culturally responsive and respectful. Let's do this together! Be on the lookout for the new IBCLCs of Color!

Pathway 1 candidate, Delia has gained a wealth of experience as a birth worker and aspiring lactation consultant. She will be completing the rest of her hours with Leslie to qualify to sit for the IBCLC exam👩🏾‍⚕️

If you’re planning to take the IBCLC exam, be advised that IBLCE is no longer offering the practice IBCLC exam. BUTTT all is not lost as you’ll be able to take it through their affiliate, the Global Centre for Lactation Training (GCLT)®. (Link in highlights under IBCLE Updates!)

GCLT® has several exam kits available for you!

1. Exam Simulator - $50, Realistic practice; 175 questions and can be added on to other kits

2. Core Circuit - $115, includes 400+ unique questions:
- 5 fifteen-minute quizzes,
- 2 full-length examinations with 175 questions

3. Study Sprints - $115, include 400+ unique questions split into 30, fifteen-minute quizzes

4. Rapid Review - $115, includes 400+ unique questions:
- 5 fifteen-minute quizzes
