Sammy was the first squirrel who came into my life who I couldn't find a rehabber for immediately. I did the worst thing you can do and decided to raise him myself. I fed a totally incorrect diet and he became ill. This sent me rushing around looking for a fix for the problem that I created. I found a fantastic group of squirrel rehabber who helped me to save Sammy. In the process, I fell in love
with squirrels and did the right thing by becoming a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. What started as a small project has pretty much taken over my life and I couldn't be happier about it. Last Christmas, Ken gave me a rehab building for Christmas. It has enabled me to care for more squirrels than I ever dreamed of over the year. Although it is a labor of love it is also a rather expensive endeavor. In order to care for as many squirrels and other creatures as possible, I do take donations. We always need supplies such as food and bedding, but we also need cash for groceries and medical supplies. If you would like to make a donation, you can use [email protected] on Paypal.com and rest assured that every dime will always go to help support our rehab animals. Thank-you for visiting us here on FB and please feel free to share us with all of your animal loving friends!
