Join us for an important community conversation about sickle cell disease and its impact on our communities. Gary R. Smart, MPA, FACHE, Interim Executive Director of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, CT, will share insights on this genetic condition that disproportionately affects Black and Brown communities.

The event takes place Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 5:30pm at The Lab at ConnCORP (245 Morse Street, Hamden). This free educational session offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with resources.

Come out and support Larry Young Jr., Community Advocate, as he hosts a beautiful and meaningful Valentine’s Father/ Daughter Dance through TCE. This special evening is all about creating lasting memories, strengthening bonds, and celebrating the love between fathers and daughters in a safe, joyful space.
