Congratulations to Dr. Tamiko Jackson McArthur, recipient of the Dr. Myra Logan Award! A New Haven native who knew at age four she’d become a pediatrician. Dr. Jackson McArthur founded New Haven Pediatrics 20 years ago and has since dedicated her career to caring for her hometown community — from the exam room to Connecticut’s youth correctional facilities. Her decades of leadership, from the Hospital of Saint Raphael to the New Haven Board of Education, reflect a lifelong commitment to the city she loves.

Every player who registers gets placed on a team. Space is limited, so don't sit on it.

🎬 Setting up on the Plaza for tonight!
Madagascar 3 starts at 8:00 PM at Dixwell Q House Plaza, 197 Dixwell Avenue. Free and open to the whole community.

Tonight we're partnering with [email protected] , a New Haven based organization that uses dogs to create engaging and educational experiences. They are bringing popcorn, refreshments, games and prizes for the kids. When two organizations from this city show up for the same community on the same night, our families feel it. Thank you to founder Ronn and the GPS K9 team.

Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and meet us on the Plaza at 8.
