I come before you in humility, with my hat in my hand. In May of this past year, I made Ephesians 6 Project ministry official. I have posted numerous times trying to raise money to get this off the ground so that we can start working toward helping our veterans and first responders that are struggling with things like PTSD, depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance abuse and thoughts and attempts of su***de, and so much more. I have also posted asking for people to volunteer to become part of Ephesians 6 Project. Part of our mission is to provide fellowship and spiritual support to our brothers and sisters that need it the most. It is my sincere dream to have a huge network of veterans and first responders that can be available at a moment's notice to be there for another veteran or first responder. Why do I want the network to be made up of veterans and first responders? It's simple really. Because our brothers and sisters that are struggling to get through each day will often feel more comfortable talking with someone that can relate to what they have seen and experienced.
I have a lot of friends on social media that post about how they back the blue, and support our first responders, and how they support our military, but yet, I can count on one hand the number of those friends who have actually donated, and there are even less that have been willing to actually do anything to get involved and actually do something other than post something.
Earlier today, I was informed that 2 of my board members are resigning because they already have a lot on their plate. I am asking for some of you that are veterans and or first responders (past or present) if you can find the time to become a part of Ephesians 6 Project. I am looking for someone that is willing to become a part of our board of directors and help grow and guide this outreach ministry. If you're interested, please message me.
Thank you! God bless everyone
