Outside Perspectives

This past weekend, we partnered with COBA to host a Family Fun Day and help kick off the summer season with games, activities, laughter, and time together as a community!!

Quick question:

What's one piece of outdoor gear you've purchased that spends most of its life sitting in storage?

No judgment.

Most of us have something.

A tent.
Snowshoes.
A kayak.
A cooler.
Camping cookware.

👇 We'd love to hear your answer.

We've noticed something over the years.

Many people want to spend more time outdoors.

They want to camp.
They want to hike.
They want to take their kids on adventures.

But wanting to do those things and actually doing them can feel very different.

The cost of outdoor gear adds up quickly, especially for families just getting started.

What do you think is the biggest barrier that keeps people from getting outside more often?

• Cost?
• Time?
• Not knowing where to start?
• Something else?

We'd love to hear your thoughts.

We are incredibly grateful to our community for showing up, sharing a drink, buying a raffle ticket, dancing to the music, reconnecting with old friends, and supporting Outside Perspectives' work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Pints for a Purpose this past Saturday.

We are incredibly grateful to our community for showing up, sharing a drink, buying a raffle ticket, dancing to the music, reconnecting with old friends, and supporting the work of Outside Perspectives.

A special thank you to:

🍻 Brewery Legitimus for hosting and supporting this event

🎶 42 Salute for once again bringing incredible energy to the evening

🙌 Our volunteers, who helped set up, run tables, sell raffle tickets, clean up, and stayed until the very end

Events like this remind us that the most important thing we build isn't a program, it's community.

And while Saturday was a celebration of where we've been, it was also a glimpse into where we're headed.

Stay tuned. Outside Perspectives is evolving, and we're excited to share more about what's next.

Thank you for being part of the journey. 💚

This work is built in small moments.

A student asking to try the challenge again during their free time.
A quiet participant speaking up for the first time.
A group choosing encouragement instead of judgment.
A young person realizing: “Maybe I actually *can* do hard things.”

Those moments matter.

Pints for a Purpose helps make more of them possible.
