This work is built in small moments.

A student asking to try the challenge again during their free time.
A quiet participant speaking up for the first time.
A group choosing encouragement instead of judgment.
A young person realizing: “Maybe I actually *can* do hard things.”

Those moments matter.

Pints for a Purpose helps make more of them possible.

Some of the most important things we build at Outside Perspectives don’t happen on a mountain.

They happen around campfires.
Around tables.
During conversations.
During moments where people feel connected to something bigger than themselves.

Pints for a Purpose is one of those nights.

This Saturday, our community is coming together at Brewery Legitimus to support programs that create belonging, confidence, leadership, and connection for young people across Connecticut.

Live music.
Food truck.
Raffles.
Good people.
A genuinely fun night out.

And thanks to the generosity of Brewery Legitimus and 42 Salute, 100% of proceeds go directly to Outside Perspectives.

Many important signs of growth in young people happen quietly.

It’s not always the big breakthrough moments.

Sometimes it looks like:
• showing up consistently
• trying again after failing
• supporting a peer
• participating without pressure
• beginning to believe they belong

We put together a free Field Notes resource: “5 Signs Young People Are Building Belonging, Confidence & Connection”

Inside:
✔ Practical indicators to look for
✔ Reflection questions for your team
✔ A simple framework for prevention-centered youth work

Perfect for educators, mentors, youth workers, and community leaders.

We created these guides because we know supporting teens can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially in a world that feels increasingly disconnected, distracted, and fast-moving.

But through shared experience.
