The New Hartford Women’s Club, founded in 1966, is a non-profit organization composed of local women diverse in age, background, and interests; but all sharing the common goal of helping and improving our community. Our fundraisers take advantage of whatever talents members share; from pancake flipping at Breakfast with Santa to modeling for the fashion show to garnering goods and services from lo
cal merchants for a variety of causes. Past fundraisers have included the aforementioned Breakfast with Santa (our biggest event of the year), an adults-only Halloween party, 25th Anniversary prints, Town themed blankets and Munson’s chocolate sales. We also work with Unicef, Bunnies for Babies and the American Red Cross to bolster their efforts. We sponsor a babysitting course for New Hartford adolescents, not to mention helping to sponsor children for numerous local school events. Our fundraising activities have enabled us to give to a large number of worthwhile causes. We offer a social program at each month’s meeting to enhance our member’s cultural calendar.
