60 bears were successfully donated to the Cove Center for Grieving Children! Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to make this happen. 🥹💛

The bears will be given to children attending “Camp Compassion” this weekend…a bereavement camp for youth who have experienced the loss of someone significant in their lives.

We also sent along handwritten cards made by 7th grade students from the Gilbert School. Under the direction of , students were able to practice empathy, a skill they have been sharpening this year during Hive Time, a social emotional learning class. 💛

We hope our gifts show these kids how loved they are and provide a bit of comfort during such a hard time.

Thank you again to all of those who donated, and a special thank you to for putting all of these bears together and delivering them! 🐻💛

JOIN US!!!! We are on a mission to raise money to donate QT bears to The Cove Center for Grieving Children where they will be gifted to children who have lost a loved one.

Each year, they host a special weekend called Camp Compassion which is an overnight bereavement camp (Kent, CT) for children who have lost a loved one.

At this camp, 60 kids come together to participate in therapeutic activities that help them process their grief, feel less alone, and stay connected to the people they’ve lost.

We’re hoping to be able to send a QT Bear to every single child attending this year… 60 bears for 60 kids.

We need your help to reach our goal to make this happen! 🙂

100% of every donation goes directly toward creating and donating these bears.

What feels especially meaningful is that the camp is happening over the same weekend as my dad’s birthday this year. It’s funny how these things always seem to align… and it just reminds me that he’s still a part of every QT Bear donation I put together. 💜

Hiii everyone!! New Fundraising Model👇🏼🫶🏼🧸

For our next fundraiser, we wanted to try something a bit different. People often ask if they can buy bears for themselves, or send them directly to a friend they know who’s going through a tough time. Usually, we just donate our bears in bulk to children in need through our fundraisers.

It was time to switch things up!

We now have a “ONE FOR ONE” donation model! 🧸💛

For every bear you purchase, another will be sent to a child in need. Our goal is to DOUBLE the bears that we distribute!

As many of you know, this foundation was inspired by my Dad who passed away in 2018. His Birthday is coming up on May 16th…so….

From now until May 16th, we will be raising money to donate bears to children with cancer, in my dads honor.

My goal is to be able to donate at least 58 bears for what would have been his 58th Birthday.

This past weekend, the QT Bear Foundation was invited to participate in an incredible event that supported families who lost everything in the Eaton fires in Los Angeles. We handed out over 100 QT Bears to children affected by the fires.

We also distributed anonymous “pay it forward” notes where we had people write encouraging messages for others.

There was one little girl that kept coming back to my booth over and over to keep writing more letters when we got low. All of her notes ended with “and I love you”. Her family was one that lost everything in the fires, yet all she wanted to do was make other people feel better. Her hopeful and resilient spirit in the mist of a crisis is exactly what I want to embody as a nonprofit…and exactly what having a heart of service is all about. It’s safe to say she not only inspired everyone around her, but made my entire day.

I know I’ve said it before, but I want to say thank you again to everyone who donated to make this happen. To say the families were grateful is an understatement….🤎🧸

Please continue to keep everyone who has been affected by the fires in your prayers. There is still so much work to be done as everyone rebuilds their lives and community…💛🙏🏻

Popping in to thank all of the wonderful people who donated to our most recent fundraiser!🙏🏻 The QT Bear Foundation was able to donate 54 QT Bears to underserved children & families in the Highland Park, CA area.

We handed the bears out this morning at Toy Drive….the children were SO happy & the families were SO grateful. 🙏🏻

Most of the time, we don’t get to see or talk to the children who receive our bears, because they are sick in the hospital or far away…being able to see the smiles on these kids faces today made this donation extra special. ❤️

From the bottom of my heart, thank YOU for making this happen and continuing to support the QT Bear Foundation over the last 4 years!!! It means so much to me! -Olivia

With your help…we were able to create 104 QT BEARS for our LA Children’s Hospital fundraiser. 😭🤍🧸

If you read our last post, you’ll know that we handed some out to kids at the park while we were packaging the bears up, but the rest went to children in the oncology unit at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. 🙏🏻

This mission was extra special because the QT Bear Foundation got to collaborate with _🧸🤍
