Last night we had the opportunity to celebrate the new Music Garden at the New Hampton Public Library with a ribbon cutting!🎀

Seven years in the making, the Music Garden came together through a combination of grants, donations, volunteers and support from the New Hampton Public Library’s Memorial Foundation.

It’s a wonderful new space for our community, and we can’t wait to see kids, families and visitors enjoying it for years to come! 🎶

We wanted to share a very similar message we’re feeling here in New Hampton from our friends at the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce

“Construction is a sign of progress. Is it always easy? Of course not, but it helps build and shape our community for the future.”

We know the street closures, closed parking lots, detours and construction projects can be a little frustrating at times, but they’re also a sign that things are happening and our community is investing in its future.

We thought our friends in Grinnell said it pretty well. ❤️
