You may have noticed that we have been sharing that we are hosting a gala with the Big4Fair this November.
Imagine being invited to go to a Figure 8 race with your friends, wanting to take the family to a tough truck show, or being invited to your grandchild’s day of showing cattle at the fair and you have to say no and stay home because you know you may not be able to maneuver around the venue safely. It is often times too easy to take advantage of walking or attending these things until you no longer can.
The below pictures are not of the actual fairgrounds, but they show what the goals are with holding the gala. We will create accessible spaces using sidewalks in high traffic areas where it otherwise would have been muddy. We will create a fun, safe space in the grandstands for those using wheelchairs, walkers, or scooters, or strollers to be able to attend an event with their family or friends. There will also be a ramp that is much more feasible to use.
Please consider buying a ticket for this fun event.
Again, don’t buy a ticket from someone else you know them. Terrible that I have to write this..😔
