We are so grateful to everyone who made this year’s Helping for the Holidays Campaign at Rapid Printers and Office World a success! We received a donation of $1,012 from this amazing initiative. Your support helps us continue providing food and personal care items to students, families, and our community. Together, we’re making a real difference for those who need it most.

Iowa is changing what can be purchased with SNAP in Iowa starting January 1st, 2026. With this change, SNAP benefits will be directed toward foods that promote good nutrition, such as fruits, vegetables, and proteins, and away from foods like pop and candy.

For the next few weeks, there will be free winter coats available by the pantry cabinet. Also, thanks to the FCS class, there are recipe bags filled will all the ingredients to make green bean casserole, German chocolate caramel bars or microwave fruit salad. If you have Chickasaw branded clothing to donate, please place donations in the box below the coats. We are so grateful for the generosity in our amazing community. Happy Thanksgiving!

For the first week of November, all Hy-Vee stores with hot food service will offer free meals to kids ages 12 and under from 4 to 7 p.m. The meals will be available to everyone else for $3 for dine-in or carry-out.

In order for us to help as many families as possible through the government shutdown, we have instituted a new limit of 2 grocery bags per family. We want to make sure people in our community have access to food and essentials. By taking only what you need, you help ensure there's enough for others too. If your garden is overflowing with fresh produce, consider donating your extras to the food pantry at the high school! Your homegrown produce can help nourish families in our community who need a little extra support.

Chickasaw Pride Pantry remains open through the summer. Located inside the first set of doors at New Hampton High School, we provide non-perishable items to those in need. Donations are also accepted. Please place donations in the bin to the left of the cabinet. We are unable to accept food that is expired, open or damaged.
