This R.E.D. Friday marks one week since we opened the doors to our new home. There’s been a lot of learning, adjusting and fine-tuning as we settle into a building that is brand new to all of us. We sincerely appreciate the patience, encouragement and support you’ve shown our staff and volunteers along the way. ❤️

We’ve also heard your feedback. We know that noise levels and lighting are areas that need some attention, and we’re actively working on solutions to make our new home more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

👨‍🍳 Chef Jim and his crew have been busy mastering the new kitchen equipment, and on SEPTEMBER 1ST the FULL MENU makes its debut! Want a preview? Ask to see a copy when you stop in this weekend. 👀

As we enjoy a meal, raise a glass and celebrate one week of making memories in our new home, we pause to remember the men and women serving far from theirs.

It’s National Burger Day, and Chef Jim is ready to help you celebrate properly. Whether you like yours dressed with all the fixings or prefer to keep things simple, there’s no better excuse to grab a burger and settle in at Post 7012.

And after a brief break while we relocated their dance floor, we’re excited to welcome back KYRSTEN & Cody to host their weekly Line Dancing event.

Doors to the Dance Hall open at 6:00 for Food and beverage service from VFW Post 7012, dancing and instruction starts at 7:00.

Sounds like a pretty good way to spend National Burger Day at VFW Post 7012! 🇺🇸

🎶 Open 2 TO 9… WHAT A WAY TO SPEND A WEDNESDAY 🎶

Music carries a little more meaning as we remember the incomparable Dolly Parton and how she taught us through song…that riches aren’t always measured in dollars. There may be no better example of that than a place filled with good friends, good food and good music…And we have all three waiting for you today at VFW Post 7012!

Doors and kitchen open at 2:00 today and we invite you to join us for our first Wednesday in our new home.

Chef Jim will be offering his fully satisfying tailored menu along with these featured specials: Cream of Crab Soup, Cheese or Pepperoni Flatbreads and Lemon Pepper Wings.

The first week in our new home is officially underway, and today gives us another reason to raise a glass to new beginnings… it’s National Whiskey Sour Day! This classic cocktail is an appropriate reminder that tradition remains, even if the surroundings are new.

Speaking of NEW…Our new Regular Menu debuts one week from today. Until then, Chef Jim is featuring a tailored menu with many great options (like his cheesesteak sub, wings, burgers and his famous appetizers) and adding daily specials to the mix. Joining today’s line up is:

🥖 Hot Italian Sub
🥚 Egg Salad Sandwich
🥗 Salad with Grilled Chicken
🌮 Grilled Shrimp Tacos

FYI: Canteen hours of operation are now Tuesday-Thursday, 2:00-9:00 p.m., Friday 2:00-10:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00-10:00 p.m. Sunday hours will return September 13th (12:00-7:00)

Thank you for your patience as we master all of the “new” (equipment, technology, surroundings) while attempting to preserve all of the “old” (traditions, camaraderie, nostalgia) We look forward to seeing and serving you at Post 7012 today.
