Attention Camper Families!

The Respite Schedule for Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 has been finalized, and registration will open on Tuesday, August 18, at 12:00 pm. Our respite programs offer fun-filled days and weekends throughout the year. This is a wonderful opportunity for campers to reconnect with old friends or make new ones while engaging in seasonal activities within a safe, enjoyable, and nurturing environment.

Thank you to students from The University of Akron School of Law for volunteering with us this week! They helped clean the dining hall and kitchen and also lent a hand with stuffing envelopes. We truly appreciate their support and their return year after year. Thank you again, and best of luck in the year ahead

Summer Staff of 2026 - we extend our heartfelt gratitude for making it an incredible summer! Your boundless energy, compassion, and commitment to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our campers were truly inspiring.

Congratulations to Grace and Kelly, recipients of the Boatswain Award, for consistently going above and beyond, always prioritizing the needs of their campers.

A special shout out to Leyton and Marley for earning the Silver Cross Award, showcasing the YMCA's values of caring, respect, responsibility, honesty and faith!

We truly had a fantastic summer and is so grateful that you were part of it. Thank you!

Our last cookout was bittersweet because it marked the end of our 103rd summer! We were grateful to the amazing volunteers from Smithers Oasis for their help in serving dinner and cleaning up afterward. Our adult campers had a fantastic time with their friends. Thank you for making it a wonderful week. We look forward to seeing you all next summer!

Last weeks cookout was a wonderful occasion where we had the pleasure of welcoming several Rotarians from neighboring communities, including Barberton, Akron, Tallmadge and Aurora.
