Join the International Welcome Center for a special Ethiopian dinner at Remarkable Diner on Wednesday, June 24 at 6PM.

Your $100 ticket donation includes a full Ethiopian meal and directly supports IWC’s work of walking alongside refugee families as they rebuild their lives, find stability, and begin again in our community.

Waiting can teach us a lot about hope.

Kellie, our Volunteer Coordinator, has learned from refugees who have waited years—sometimes decades—for answers, safety, documentation, and a place to call home.

Their stories remind us that hope is not passive. Hope can pray. Hope can endure. Hope can keep going when the timeline is unknown.

Sometimes that looks like helping a family find stability through case management. Sometimes it looks like walking alongside someone as they learn English, prepare for a driver’s license, or navigate life in a new country. And sometimes, it looks as simple and as important as providing a bed for someone arriving with very little and starting over.
