We are officially 4 months away from Old Settlers Picnic! 🎡🎶

The countdown is on, and excitement is already building for one of the best times of the year. From great food and entertainment to traditions that bring our community together, Old Settlers is something so many of us look forward to each year.

Be sure to mark your calendars, because August will be here before we know it! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and make more great memories together. ❤️🎉

Today on National Mom and Pop Business Owner’s Day, we want to recognize and thank the many small businesses that help make Old Settler’s such a success each year. From donations and sponsorships to services, supplies, and community support, these local businesses play a huge role in helping everything run smoothly and efficiently.

Old Settler’s would not be possible without the dedication of the small business owners who continue to invest in our community and support local traditions. We are grateful for each and every one of you and appreciate the partnership that helps keep this event going year after year.

Any organization or group of people that may be interested in running the kitchen at the Old Settlers in August, please reach out to us. You’d be responsible for Friday and Saturday, you buy the food and we rent you out the kitchen / food stand. For more info, message us or reach out to a board member.

Calling all grill masters and BBQ enthusiasts! 🍽️ The Backyard BBQ Contest is happening at the Old Settlers Picnic on Saturday, August 2nd, and we want YOU to bring your A-game!

There are THREE sizzling categories:
1️⃣ Breakfast 🥓🍳
2️⃣ Fish 🐟
3️⃣ Ribs 🍖

💰 $10 per team per category — Show us what you’ve got and compete for some serious bragging rights (and awesome prizes)!

Today is the FINAL DAY to sign up for the Princess Contest at the Old Settlers Picnic! If your little one has been thinking about joining this exciting tradition, now is the time to take action!

To participate, simply reach out to Dawn Carter or join us at the meeting TONIGHT at the Old Settlers Picnic Grounds at 6:30 pm. No late entries after tonight.
