Registration is still open for the New Fairfield Lions Club 4th of July Parade!! 🇺🇸🦁❤️🤍💙

All businesses, organizations, sports teams, bands, and anyone else is welcome to participate! Saturday July 4, 2026, at 9:30 am., We invite you to participate in this longstanding New Fairfield tradition honoring our country. Please ask your family and friends to attend and join in our celebration of America's independence!

We are also offering a $250 cash prize to the group with the best float! We ask that prize money be donated to a non profit if the winner is not one.

To celebrate America’s 250th birthday we invite you to celebrate on Memorial Field afterwards for our “America’s 250th birthday celebration”! Axe throwing, bouncy houses, music, food, ice cream, and more!!

The New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department proudly announces the return of their annual Car Show on Saturday, June 13. Gates open at 8:30 AM, Awards are at 2:00 PM, and the event ends at 4:00 PM. The show began as the dream of the late NFFD member Peter Weinberger, and this year will mark the 10th Anniversary of the first Show.

Car owners will showcase their vehicles and compete for trophies. In partnership with Connecticut Cruise News, this will be a sanctioned Ring Event. Spectators can enjoy food, music, raffles, 50/50 drawings, and an impressive lineup of cars throughout the day. All proceeds benefit the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department.
