Racism and guns. A horrible combination.

Tahseen Aliahmad and two other men of Palestinian descent — all college students who are studying in the U.S. — were shot in Burlington, Vermont. Police said they arrested a man in connection with the shooting.

A fact that hopefully the conservative majority of the Supreme Court will keep in mind as they consider the Rahimi case, oral arguments for which are being heard on Nov. 7. A TX judge found that prohibiting subjects of domestic violence protective orders from having guns is unconstitutional.

This is the real world outcome of their radical decision in the Bruen case decided last year, where Justice Thomas declared that public safety should no longer be considered when determining if a gun law is constitutional.
