France needs our prayers. Across the country, widespread demonstrations have brought unrest, violence, and uncertainty to communities already facing deep social and economic pressures.

Pray for peace in the streets and protection for those caught in the unrest. Pray for wisdom for leaders and authorities as they respond. And pray especially for churches and believers across France to reflect the hope, compassion, and peace of Christ to their neighbors during a difficult and divided season.
In moments of uncertainty, may God use his people to point others toward the lasting hope found in Jesus.

Pastors carry great responsibility. In the middle of that constant busyness, it can be difficult to keep the Great Commission at the center of church life.

Missions is not simply another ministry competing for attention. It is part of the calling Christ has given his church, and pastors play an essential role in helping believers understand how they can take part in making disciples of all nations.

This Pastor Appreciation Month, we are especially grateful for pastors who continue to cultivate a heart for the lost, challenge their churches to look beyond themselves, and faithfully remind their people that the gospel is meant to go to the nations. Vida Nueva Church in Lima, Peru, is growing, but they still don’t have a permanent place to call home. More than 200 people gather under rented tents each week, worshiping together, growing in their faith, and helping plant new churches throughout the community. Now, they’re praying and working toward the next step: securing land for a permanent ministry home.

Have you ever felt like you don’t quite belong anywhere? For missionary kids and third culture kids, “home” can be complicated. It may mean more than one country, family members thousands of miles away, or memories of places that no longer feel the same.

In “Homesick,” missionary kid Eliana Mee shares how that longing has pointed her toward a deeper truth: no place on earth can fully satisfy the desire to belong. For followers of Christ, our true home is still ahead. The ache of homesickness can remind us that we were made for something eternal.
