ABWE We help the local church send missionaries to preach the gospel, plant churches, and train national leaders in more than 90 nations—for the glory of God.

Our vision is to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people. Every day we strive to share Christ through bold, biblical, relational evangelism and by planting thriving churches. But we don’t just want to send missionaries. We want to spark global missions movements that extend beyond ourselves—where local leaders are trained, mission-mi

nded churches are planted, and believers are compelled to carry the message of Jesus to every nation. We want to disciple new believers and empower the local church to pick up the torch of missions and carry the gospel into new places — until it has reached every nation—and our vision of multiplying leaders, churches and missions movements among every people, is fulfilled. While God continues to humble us and teaches us new things each day, we have more than 94 years of experience sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ with people in more than 70 countries around the world. We remain rooted in conservative, baptistic theology, but we strive to stay relevant, effective, and adaptable to the diverse cultures where we minister.

Las Vegas is often called “Sin City,” but Pastor Josh Teis sees it as a mission field.

In this clip from Leader to Leader, Josh joins ABWE President Paul L. Davis to talk about what it takes to reach people with the gospel in a difficult place, lead with endurance, and keep evangelism at the center of church ministry.

The mission field may be challenging, but the gospel is still powerful. Listen to the full episode: https://buff.ly/DdgsHHr

Many parts of the world still lack a consistent gospel witness. In some places, the church is young and fragile. In others, the good news has never crossed cultural lines.
Flood the Nations is our response to that call: a sustained effort to see the knowledge of the glory of the Lord cover the earth. Through local churches, national leaders, and missionaries on the ground, ABWE is working so that whole communities might hear, trust, and live under Christ’s lordship.

Missions is not reserved for one type of person or one kind of calling. Maybe God is leading you to one of the many opportunities around the world where he can use your gifts, your training, and your life for the Great Commission.

You don’t have to take the next step alone. We missionaries and churches proclaim Christ and reach the lost together. Is God calling you to go?

One of the most impactful ways we can support our brothers and sisters serving on the mission field is through prayer.

By God’s grace, prayer opens doors we could never open in our own strength. Will you commit to pray for missions?

It wasn't quite what she expected. . .

For Caidence, an ABWE MK in Ecuador, life on the mission field has been filled with surprises.

In her words, "A lot of the things I used to be nervous about became actually some of the greatest blessings of my life."

What happens when one spouse feels called to continue in missions—and the other feels completely finished?

In this week’s episode of The Missions Show, Alex and Scott respond to a heartfelt listener letter from a missionary wife who returned from the field carrying the weight of trauma, grief, anxiety, family challenges, and burnout. While her husband still feels called to return overseas, she’s asking a difficult question:

Is it wrong to say, “I can’t do this anymore”?

This is one of the most honest and practical conversations we've had about the realities of missionary life, family, and obedience.

🎧 Listen now and join the conversation.

What happens when a husband and wife disagree on their calling?

“Missions isn’t just an extraordinary calling for a select few—it’s the natural overflow of a healthy, maturing church.”

ABWE President Paul Davis and Pastor David Schrock unpack how fruitful churches naturally reproduce through church planting and sending missionaries. Just as growth and maturity lead to multiplication in life, healthy churches are called to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches around the world.

A mature church doesn’t only grow larger, it grows outward and multiples, even across the world.
