Below is a statement from one of our youth. This is just one of the unique differences we made in a local child’s life with your support. Thank you!

“To be honest, when Tom and Dustin took me out to get new shoes it hit me in an emotional way. The fact that Tom and Dustin took time out of their day to get me shoes made me feel like I’m not alone. I can count on them if I need to, not just in a money situation but mentally and emotionally. Knowing I have two amazing people next to me makes me feel like no matter what’s going on I have them with me. They both have helped me on my faith journey. They especially helped me when my family and I had issues with our house. Tom and Dustin have guided me to God and to be better as a Christian and a man.”

Our Story

Welcome home to Medard’s House! The door is open, come on in and sit awhile. Let us tell you all about this wonderful place… Medard’s House is a faith based after school program for teens ages 13-18. Currently open Monday and Tuesday from 3-6 PM, and Thursday from 6-8 PM (no dinner served Thursday nights), the teens get a chance to play X-box, shoot some hoops or pool, play ping pong, get home work help, have some biblical strengthening and a home cooked meal. Medard’s disappearance and death solidified a need in our community for our children to have access to caring adults. Although a small group in the community had already been meeting and praying about this, when this tragedy struck, the need for a place for teens to be themselves in a safe place, became more apparent than ever. It is obvious to those involved in this ministry that today’s high school age student is craving healthy adult contacts that point them to truth.
