On May 6, the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) hosted the 2026 Gala at the iconic Rainbow Room. We're thrilled to share that we honored the talented and resilient Michelle Yeoh, and presented the Blanchette Ho**er Rockefeller Award to visionary and diligent Wendy O'Neill. Today is GivingTuesday! Make a gift to ACC’s Annual Fund and help ensure we can continue creating transformative cultural exchange opportunities for artists, scholars, arts professionals, and organizations worldwide.

ACC is glad to celebrate GivingTuesday this year with words from our alumni community describing what ACC has given them. ACC grantees and alumni carry out our invaluable mission of advancing international dialogue, understanding, and respect through cultural exchange. Through their experiences and impact on the world, they amplify and enact ACC’s institutional values.

Read more about what Brian Bernards, Chiao-Chi Chou, and Huong Ngo have shared about what their ACC experiences gave them at the link below, and thank you for supporting ACC.

Join us on December 4, at MoMA PS1 in NYC for Archival Thinking: Artist Archive Symposium—RSVP link below! This event, co-organized by ACC and Cai Foundation, will be a full-day forum bringing together distinguished speakers from the fields of art, archives, and the humanities to explore the contemporary significance and potential of artist archives; it will be followed by a closing reception.

The program aims to encourage early-career artists, students, archivists, and cultural workers to explore the possibilities of archiving from the start—viewing archives as an integral part of creation rather than an afterthought limited to documentation. We hope to see you there.
