🌸 Native Plant Spotlight: Virginia Rose 🌸

Our beautiful native Virginia Rose is more than just a wildflower — it provides valuable habitat for birds and pollinators throughout the season. Its dense, thorny branches help shelter nesting birds, while the flowers attract native bees and butterflies. Later in the year, the rose hips provide food for wildlife.

Small native shrubs like this can make a big difference in creating healthier backyard habitat for birds. 💚🐦

A great local collaboration to reduce bird-window collisions.

Bird-window collisions are a major issue, with hundreds of millions of birds lost each year. But simple solutions like these paracord “BirdSavers” can make a real difference.

This installation at Jamie Surya Yoga Studio in Piermont is a wonderful, visible step forward.
