Pontifical University of the Holy Cross Foundation The Pontifical University of the Holy Cross Foundation benefits the mission of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, Italy.

The mission of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross Foundation is to support the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, whose mission is to address one of the world's most critical needs, the formation of priests who will lead the Church in the 21st century. The cost per student for just one academic year (including academics as well as residential) is more than $31,000. Of this, only abo

ut one-third is covered by the tuition and fees charged to the students. Many of the students come from very poor dioceses in the developing world. They could never afford to pay the whole cost of their education. The Church needs its strongest and best leaders where there's the most work to be done. The PUHC Foundation’s main offices are in New York, New York.

Fr. John Wauck is part of the Alumni Santa Croce community as well as a professor of communications at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce. He is a Harvard University graduate, consultant to ABC News for matters of the Holy See, and a strong believer that sharing our faith is easier than we think.

In his experience, most people are genuinely curious, not hostile.

Throughout the summer we will be less present online due to traveling for fundraising and trainings.

However, we wanted to share something with you in the meantime. Recently, Pope Leo released his first encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas. The document beautifully speaks to the universal ideal of safeguarding human dignity—while offering an honest reflection on the ways the Church itself has failed in this area.

Stay tuned as we drop some of our favorite quotes from the encyclical over the summer! 📚✨

✨ New Episode Release ✨

This week, David sits down for a conversation with Daniel Arasa, the Dean of the School of Church Communications at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce.

Daniel is a journalist by trade and was appointed by Pope Francis to advise the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication.

Getting to speak with Daniel in Rome with a storm brewing in the background is such an apt analogy for Santa Croce in the world today. This university is a beacon of hope that prepares priests, seminarians, and leaders to go out into the stormy world and share the light of the Gospel.

While in Rome, we sat down with Daniel Arasa, Dean of the School of...
