๐Ÿ’™ Happy Fatherโ€™s Day from United Hospice ๐Ÿ’™

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures whose love, strength, wisdom, and guidance leave a lasting impact on the lives of those they cherish.

Whether through quiet acts of support, words of encouragement, or a lifetime of dedication to family, fathers help shape the memories and moments that matter most.

From all of us at United Hospice, we wish a very Happy Fatherโ€™s Day to all those who lead with compassion, courage, and love.

Honoring Juneteenth โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’š

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued, news of freedom finally reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas. Juneteenth serves as a powerful reminder of our nation's history and the ongoing journey toward justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.

At United Hospice, we believe every individual deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and dignity. We are honored to serve patients and families from all backgrounds and walks of life, recognizing the unique stories, experiences, and legacies that shape our communities.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we celebrate the strength of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to fostering understanding, inclusion, and compassion.

โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’š Happy Juneteenth. May we continue to learn from our history, honor those who paved the way, and work together toward a more equitable future.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธHappy Flag Day from United Hospice ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, we celebrate Flag Day, commemorating June 14, 1777, when the Second Continental Congress adopted the American flag as the official flag of the United States. For nearly 250 years, our flag has stood as a powerful symbol of freedom, unity, courage, and hope.

As our nation prepares to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, we reflect on the generations of individuals who have served, sacrificed, and helped shape the country we know today. Their dedication and resilience continue to inspire us.

At United Hospice, we are honored to care for veterans, patients, and families throughout Orange and Rockland Counties. Every day, we witness the strength, character, and stories of those who have contributed to the fabric of our nation and our communities.

On this Flag Day, we proudly honor the Stars and Stripes and extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served our country.

โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™ Happy Flag Day and thank you to all who have answered the call to serve.

A Place of Peace, Comfort, and Compassion

When people think of hospice care, they often don't imagine a place like thisโ€”peaceful walking trails, blooming gardens, a tranquil pond, and a home-like setting where families can spend meaningful time together.

Nestled on 12 serene acres in New City, the Joe Raso Hospice Residence offers a unique setting where nature, comfort, and compassionate care come together. Designed to support patients and families during life's most challenging moments, the Residence provides a peaceful retreat where every detail is focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds, walking paths, gardens, and outdoor gathering spaces, families can find moments of reflection, connection, and peace in a setting that feels far removed from the stress of everyday life.

Inside, the Residence features 11 private suites, thoughtfully designed to provide the comforts of home while ensuring expert hospice care is available around the clock. Warm common areas, family gathering spaces, and inviting outdoor patios allow loved ones to spend precious time together in a welcoming environment.

Named in honor of Joe Raso, whose vision and generosity helped make this extraordinary residence possible, the facility stands as a lasting reflection of our community's commitment to caring for one another.

For nearly 40 years, United Hospice has been privileged to serve families throughout Orange and Rockland Counties. The Joe Raso Hospice Residence continues that mission by providing a place where comfort is prioritized, dignity is honored, and families can focus on what matters mostโ€”being together.
