URGENT PLEA‼️
Mary Jane is 10 years old and lost her lifetime cat companion in January. They used to snuggle every night, groom each other and were very bonded. She has been very lonely since he passed and NOW SHE IS LOSING HER HOME AT THE END OF JULY!!! Her family has to move due to economic reasons and the only place they could find in their price range, will not accept pets. 😢 They have no family or friends that can take her. If we do not find a permanent or temporary home she will have to go to a shelter but she is extremely shy and WILL NOT do well there. Because Mary Jane is very shy, she will be very timid at first and will need time to feel safe and adjust. But once she does, she will snuggle with you as well. She would do best in a home with a sweet, gentle male cat who would welcome a companion and, of course, we will consider a loving home with no other cats as well. Otherwise, if you have a spare room and your heart goes out to this little girl, PLEASE consider fostering her until we can find her a permanent home. Mary Jane has recently been to the vet and is up-to-date on her vaccines and is negative for FeLV and FIV. If you can help, please call 845-634-0345 (landline) or 845-641-0092 (cell) as soon as possible! PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS CAT GO TO THE SHELTER...it's the ACC (Animal Care Centers); the family lives in White Plains, not Rockland. It will not be a positive solution!! Thank you! 🐾
