🥪 we ate. we networked with colleagues. we had an impromptu disc golf lesson AND we got to showcase the gorgeous Lakeside Park thanks to our hosts at Pawling Recreation 👏🏼

🍃 We love growing partnerships 🍃

According to the NYS Department of Labor, the largest job gains in the Hudson Valley were in leisure and hospitality (+14,400), professional and business services (+6,300), trade, transportation and utilities (+3,100), educational and health services (+2,900), manufacturing (+1,100), other services (+1,100) and information (+400).

We’ve teamed up with local parks and recreation departments in the Hudson Valley to create the
🌟🌟”LIGHT IT UP HUDSON VALLEY LIST”🌟🌟

This light list will map out homes, businesses, and organizations throughout the Hudson Valley who have festive light displays set up for the holidays. The light list will be available December 11 - January 2.

Getting on the LIGHT IT UP HUDSON VALLEY LIST is FREE and EASY!!!

Today was a very special HVLSA meeting with our members who operate parks and recreation facilities around the Hudson Valley. We focused on our sites and field/facility operation while swapping ideas to best serve our communities. Thank you to everyone who came out today.

Special thanks to Recreation Director, Matt Veronesi, and his crew for hosting in New Windsor with some great equipment on display and techniques shared. We are certainly stronger together and the support between us is so valuable!

✨THE NEW HVLSA SEASON HAS BEGUN✨ Yesterday, over 20 local Parks & Recreation Professionals met at Camp Hillcroft! Sally and Greg showed us their hearts and left us inspired. We toured the facilities and shared about our own summer seasons. We are truly grateful for their insight as colleagues in the camp world.

The HVLSA is dedicated to supporting leaders who can lean on each other, gather inspiration, and effectively collaborate in order to best serve their individual communities.

THANK YOU to our hosts, members, and guests who take the time to connect each month. We can’t wait to see everyone again in October 🍂

PLAY BALL! Yesterday, our HVLSA Members were in for a treat at the last meeting of the season. Special thanks to Steve Gliner, President & General Manager of the Hudson Valley Renegades, who discussed the organizational structure of Renegades within MLB and the new Yankees affiliation. Additionally, it was interesting to learn about the unique collaboration between the county, HV Renegades & NYY to bring professional baseball to Dutchess County Parks and our communities!
