The mission of the organization is to foster awareness, education, research and advocacy for
inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) with the aim to accelerate the understanding of the etiology
and biology of this disease and expedite the development of more effective treatments. The organization recognizes that inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a highly aggressive and
presently incu

rable condition requiring dedicated resources and the development of global
initiatives. Purpose
“The purpose of this international organization shall be to engage groups and individuals from
different backgrounds and with various expertise to collaborate in charitable, scientific,
educational and advocacy activities and endeavors including specifically but not limited to
promoting and fostering, among the many scientific and clinical disciplines and advocacy
organizations, the exchange and diffusion of information and ideas relating to inflammatory
breast cancer (IBC) and encouraging investigations of matters related to inflammatory breast
cancer.”
