In March of 2020, just 10 days before the world shut down due to the pandemic, Reps For Responders was born. What started as a conversation around first responders mental health has grown into a movement that has impacted thousands of first responders across the country.
Saturday night, Frank had the incredible honor of representing our entire Reps For Responders family at the Rockland County Republican Committee’s Annual Lincoln Day Dinner, where Frank was recognized alongside Reps For Responders for the work we have been blessed to do over the past six years.
Frank is deeply humbled and grateful for the powerful words shared by Clarkstown Town Clerk Lauren Wohls, whose speech captured the heart of our mission and reminded Frank why this work matters so much.
Frank was also honored to receive proclamations and recognition from:
• Congressman Mike Lawler
• Rockland County Executive Ed Day
• Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann
• The Rockland County Republican Committee
These awards may have Franks name on them, but they belong to every single person who has stood beside this mission. They belong to every first responder who chose to ask for help instead of suffering in silence. To every volunteer, donor, sponsor, gym, board member, speaker, and supporter who believed in this vision long before anyone was paying attention.
Today, because of this community, Reps For Responders has:
▪️ Hosted 320 ResponderTalk meetings with nearly 3,600 check-ins across 27 states and 5 countries.
▪️ Sponsored 137 resiliency, recovery, fitness, and health coaching opportunities for first responders.
▪️ Provided over 1,300 healthy meals to first responder agencies.
▪️ Distributed more than 400 wellness resources and tools.
▪️ Sponsored first responders to attend wellness retreats & donated 4 custom Reps For Responders dumbbell sets up to 100lbs and racks to first responder stations.
Then there is a list that happens behind the scenes. The peer support. The bridge to finding first responders the help they need.
To every first responder reading this: Your life, your story and your recovery matters.
This recognition is not the finish line. It’s fuel for what’s next.
