I am excited to share that Hearts That Care Resource & Wellness Inc. is growing and we are looking for passionate individuals who want to help make a difference

Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness was created to protect educate and empower LGBTQ communities through wellness support advocacy and resources

And now we are looking for committed compassionate and driven individuals to join our Board of Directors

We are seeking people who believe in

community care
advocacy and equity
health and wellness
uplifting marginalized communities

Board members will help guide the mission vision and growth of the organization while helping us expand the impact of the work that we are doing

Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness Launches
to Support and Empower LGBTQ+ Communities
Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness proudly announces its launch as a new nonprofit
organization dedicated to protecting, educating, and uplifting LGBTQ+ individuals particularly those
who are often pushed to the margins of society.

Founded in New York City, Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness was established by Dezireah L.
Williams, a proud Black transgender woman living openly and positively. Through her lived experience,
advocacy, and leadership, Williams recognized the urgent need for compassionate, affirming spaces
that provide education, resources, and wellness support for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

ā€œHearts That Care was born from the belief that everyone deserves dignity, access to care, and a
community that sees and supports them,ā€ said Williams, Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

The organization provides remote services and works through community partnerships to connect
individuals with wellness resources, educational programming, and advocacy initiatives designed to
strengthen and empower LGBTQ+ communities.

Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness is committed to ensuring that no one in the LGBTQ+
community feels alone, unheard, or unsupported. By focusing on compassion, education, and
empowerment, the organization seeks to build stronger, healthier communities while advocating for
a future where LGBTQ+ lives are valued, protected, and celebrated.

Through its programs and partnerships, Hearts That Care Resource and Wellness aims to expand
access to critical resources while uplifting voices that have historically been overlooked or underserved.
