La lezione sarà caratterizzata da due parti: un excursus storico degli eventi della nostra Associazione e un'analisi delle tecniche di raccolta fondi in ambito sportivo.

An exclusive event held on July 18 at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, Park Avenue, in honor of Giusy Versace and her successes.

Thanks to the tickets sold and the support received, the funds will be donated to the "Disabili No Limits" Giusy Versace Foundation.

The Foundation will also help children and disabled people to get closer to Paralympic sport by purchasing and distributing useful prostheses.

Un evento esclusivo si è tenuto il 18 Luglio presso l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di New York, nella sede di Park Avenue, per onorare la vita e i traguardi raggiunti da Giusy Versace.

Grazie alla vendita dei biglietti e al sostegno ricevuto, i fondi verranno devoluti alla “Disabili No Limits” la Fondazione di Giusy Versace.

La Fondazione, inoltre, aiuterà i bambini e i disabili ad avvicinarsi allo sport paraolimpico, grazie all'acquisto e alla distribuzione di protesi utili.

🇺🇸 Disabili No Limits Onlus is the first Foundation that IASF has decided to support through the event: "An inspirational evening with Giusy Versace".

Disabili No Limits was founded by Giusy Versace to give all people with disabilities a more autonomous life by donating aids that, to date, are not provided by the National Health System (ASL).

The Disabled No Limits collects funds to give away ultra-light wheelchairs and carbon fiber prostheses, for daily activities and sports in support of those living in disadvantaged economic conditions.

Disabili No Limits è stata fondata da Giusy Versace per restituire a tutte le persone con disabilità una vita più autonoma donando ausili che, ad oggi, non sono previsti dal Sistema Sanitario Nazionale (ASL) .

La Disabili No Limits raccoglie fondi per regalare sedie a ruote ultraleggere e protesi in fibra di carbonio, per attività quotidiane e sportive a sostegno di coloro che vivono condizioni economiche svantaggiate.

🇺🇸 In Paralympic sports, the human-machine combination is undoubtedly very evident. But the goal is that technology does not replace the performance of the athlete, especially in the Paralympics, where sport and its principles are exalted.

Therefore, all instruments must be used in accordance with a number of principles recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC):

- Physical ability
- Correctness
- Safety
- Universality

These are 4 pillars that also regulate the use of technology and equipment during competitions and are considered valid both in tests with wheelchairs and in those in which prostheses are used.

🇮🇹 Negli sport paralimpici il binomio uomo-macchina è senza dubbio molto evidente. Ma l’obiettivo è che la tecnologia non si sostituisca alle prestazioni dell’atleta, specialmente alle Paralimpiadi, in cui si esaltano lo sport e i suoi principi.

Quindi, tutte le strumentazioni devono essere utilizzate nel rispetto di una serie di principi riconosciuti dal Comitato Paralimpico Internazionale (IPC):

- Abilità fisica
- Correttezza
- Sicurezza
- Universalità

Si tratta di 4 pilastri che regolamentano anche l’uso della tecnologia e delle attrezzature durante le competizioni e sono da intendersi validi sia nelle prove con sedie a rotelle che in quelle in cui si usano protesi.

🇮🇹 Lo sport rappresenta un'esperienza fondamentale nella vita dei bambini.

Gli effetti positivi dello sport sulla crescita sia da un punto di vista fisico che psicologico sono ormai ben noti a tutti.

Ma non tutti i bambini hanno accesso alle discipline sportive e per molti di loro è difficile avere l’opportunità di praticare sport in sicurezza.

Noi di IASF crediamo nel potere pedagogico e formativo dello sport per questo lavoriamo ogni giorno per realizzare progetti sportivi a sostegno dei bambini.
