UJCES/Masaryk Towers NORC's 3rd Annual Community Health and Resource Fair was held on August 20, 2026..

Our members are so happy with this fair. They get the opportunity to get information from our partners that attend the event.. Our NORC Nurse offered Blood Pressure screenings. We had great giveaways too!!

Our dedicated NORC Advisory Council held their outdoor Flea Market at the same time. Make sure you come by and tell your friends too! August 2027 will be here before you know it!

The UJC Lillian Wald OAC held a Summer Resource Health Fair on Thursday, July 30th in collaboration with community agencies and medical providers. Many residents on the Lower East Side participated and were able to receive information and services to better meet their health needs. We look forward to future gatherings in the community we serve.

On Thursday, August 6th, 2026, the UJC Lillian Wald OAC held a Pool Tournament, and quite en event it turned out to be. With prizes for all, the turnout was very impressive, but the matches were even more thrilling.

For years, frum mothers enrolled in New York’s WIC program have walked out of stores without formula for their babies. The federal benefit covered dozens of products, but not one of them met the cholov yisroel standard their families keep. The choice came down to paying out of pocket or forfeiting...

Thank you to Assemblymember Grace Lee 李榮恩 and her team for bringing their mobile office to our Adult Lunch Club at the Orenstein Building The United Jewish Council of The East Side Our members were able to get their questions answered without leaving the comfort of our dining room
