During Public Service Recognition Week, we take time to honor the critical role AFSCME members play in our everyday lives. Whether it’s answering emergency calls, transporting students safely, maintaining clean neighborhoods and water systems, or providing care to those in need, public service workers are at the heart of strong communities.

Their dedication does not go unnoticed. They deserve appreciation, respect, and fair treatment for the work they do. This week, we express our sincere thanks to those who serve others, and we remain committed to supporting and strengthening the public services our communities depend on.
