During our drill this past weekend, cadets participated in a Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) class, learning about the dangers of drug and substance abuse and the importance of making healthy, responsible choices.

Programs like DDR give our cadets valuable knowledge they can carry with them both in the Sea Cadet program and in their everyday lives. ⚓️🇺🇸

⚓️ A Day Aboard the Battleship New Jersey! 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the Battleship New Jersey for welcoming the William E. Taylor Division aboard! Our cadets had a fantastic day exploring this incredible ship and learning about the history, service, and stories behind one of America’s most legendary battleships.

We are especially grateful for the wonderful history lessons shared throughout the tour—it was an experience our cadets won’t soon forget!

Today, we had the honor of officially swearing in the newest cadet of the William E. Taylor Division!

We’re excited to welcome another young person into the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps and can’t wait to watch their journey begin. There are plenty of new experiences, friendships, and adventures ahead!

🇺🇸 Tee It Up for the Troops 🇺🇸

Earlier this month, our cadets were honored to support the Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Event with a Color Guard presentation.

It is always a privilege for our cadets to represent the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps while honoring the brave men and women who have served our nation. Opportunities like these allow our cadets to build confidence, demonstrate professionalism, and give back to the community while showing respect for those who have sacrificed so much.

A sincere thank you to the organizers of Tee It Up for the Troops for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve.

PT doesn’t have to be ordinary! 💪⚓

This drill, our cadets put their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to the test through creative PT challenges. By working together to overcome each obstacle, they built trust, strengthened leadership skills, and proved that the best results come from working as a team. Great job, cadets! Bravo Zulu! 👏🇺🇸
