Soul Food:

Our Lord is worthy of Praise... #3
Psalm 91

Today's Psalm is a song of trust and comfort that celebrates God's complete protection and care for those who make Him their refuge.
"He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection" Psalm 91:4

Our Lord is worthy of Praise... #2

Psalm 69

In this intense Psalm King David opens with a desperate plea for rescue with intense agony. Later, he makes a shift to adoration, and praise in great confidence that the Lord heard his cry. God wants us to have this same assurance that He hears all who call on Him.

Faith is the KEY... #4
Galatians 3

Every believer has received a measure (baseline) of faith to help manage, and exercise the different spiritual gifts within the body of Christ. We have the responsibility to cultivate and mature our FAITH by hearing and applying the WORD of God therefore becoming the evidence that faith in God is true wealth."Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?" James 2:5

Faith is the KEY... #3
2 Corinthians 5

As believers, we are encouraged through scripture to trust in God and His eternal promises, rather than relying only on physical circumstances or what we can see. Living by Faith means trusting in God's character, His Word, and the unseen spiritual reality of an eternal future with Christ while refusing to let immediate fears, visible obstacles, or changing physical conditions dictate one's hope and obedience.

Faith is the KEY... #2
Hebrews 11 (repeat)

The Bible's definition of faith is clearly stated in Hebrews 11:1 as "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Simply put, the biblical definition of faith is “trusting in something you cannot explicitly prove.” Believing that Jesus is God incarnate who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and was resurrected is not enough. Even the demons “believe” in God and acknowledge those facts (James 2:19). We must personally and fully rely on the death of Christ as the atoning sacrifice for our sins."

For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who perish; but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God" 1 Corinthians 1:18

Faith is the KEY...
Hebrews 11

It can be challenging trying to grasp all facets of faith, but at the root of understanding it; you must know faith involves abandoning all human reliance on self-efforts and placing total dependence on God's Character, His actions, and His promises, as revealed in His Word
