This research study is seeking women survivors of intimate partner violence to help share their experiences navigating systems such as healthcare, courts, and social services. The goal of the study is to better understand what support survivors receive, what barriers they face, and how services can improve responses to those impacted by IPV.
Research like this is important because survivor voices help shape trauma-informed practices, strengthen community resources, and influence policies that create safer, more supportive systems for future survivors. Participation also helps professionals better understand the real-life impact of services and where gaps in care still exist.

This week, we honor the men and women in law enforcement who serve, protect, and respond in moments of crisis, uncertainty, and danger. During National Police Week, we recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment officers make every day to help keep our communities safe.

At Safe at Home, we know the importance of strong community partnerships and the impact first responders can have in supporting victims, families, and individuals during some of life’s hardest moments.
