WESTMORELAND COUNTY — THIS IS WHERE THE STORY COMES FULL CIRCLE. ❤️🏍️
Years ago, Bob Roth and I, along with so many incredible people from the biker community, came together for a 10-year-old boy who needed people in his corner.
It was one of those K-Dogs moments you never forget.
I stayed slightly in contact with family over the years. His family became part of the K-Dogs story, and life moved forward.
But now comes the part that gets me…
That 10-year-old boy is now 22.
He grew up.
He rides a motorcycle. 🏍️
And now he wants to help other children the same way people once came together to help him.
Think about that for a second.
A child we once rallied around is now a young man ready to stand beside the next child who feels bullied, different, isolated, or like nobody understands what they’re going through.
That may be one of the greatest accomplishments I have ever witnessed in the K-Dogs Kidz Mission Family.
I won’t lie — there was definitely a tear of joy and accomplishment.
Because everything K-Dogs has ever done began in memory of my son Kyle — the original K-Dog. ❤️
To see something Kyle inspired all those years ago come FULL CIRCLE reminds me exactly why we keep going.
And now…
WE NEED WESTMORELAND COUNTY.
We’re looking for bikers, car people, mentors, families, businesses and good-hearted people who want to help us build the next chapter of the K-Dogs Kidz Mission in Westmoreland County.
You don’t have to ride a motorcycle.
You don’t need to own a specialty car.
You just need a heart for kids and the willingness to show up.
Our mission continues to stand for anti-bullying, children with disabilities, autism awareness and acceptance, mentoring, friendship, and making sure a child knows they are never standing alone.
Maybe the next child we help will someday be 22 years old, looking back at what a group of strangers did for them… and asking how they can do the same for another child.
That’s how a mission becomes a legacy.
