Hey Guys thanks for checking us out! We are a group brought together by mostly the skateboarders & youth of Henry County that are 100% dedicated to doing anything we can to contribute to getting our town a QUALITY skatepark. We have been attending city council meetings & have been working closely with the mayor & board of parks & recreation to really see what we as citizens could do to help them get the balls in motion. Well on April 4th we received the AMAZING news that the city had somehow got a $5,000.00 grant that paid for the rough design & a 3D model of the skatepark which is HUGE news for us & really showed us that it wasn't just us working hard towards it but the board members & mayor as well. In this meeting the mayor gave us his full permission & backing to start organizing a fundraiser to start raising money towards our goal of $250,000.00, there will be an event page for that soon once we lock in more details. We are currently working hard looking for sponsors or frankly anyone willing to help, we have so much work to due & we know it won't be easy but with just the few people/businesses we have already got with we are positive & optimistic. Anything helps so if you would like to help towards getting the skatepark here but can't help directly with the fundraiser or donating money, just getting the word out there is a huge part of it so share this page, invite firends, talk about it, come to the fundraiser, GET THE WORD OUT!
