Our hearts are heavy once more as we share the news of Mr. Thomas' passing.

Joe Thomas dedicated 57 years of his professional life to the Neshannock Township School District. During his tenure, Mr. Thomas served as a beloved teacher and student activities director. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Joe would quickly describe him as an incredibly kindhearted, classy individual -- a true gentleman.

Mr. Thomas was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Joe's wife, Mary Ann, daughter, Maribeth, and their extended family and friends during this difficult time. ❤️

Visitation will be on Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.

* * Remembering the Life * *

Our hearts are heavy once more as we share the news of Mrs. Elaine Hoffman’s passing. Surrounded by her loving family, Elaine passed away on November 2, 2021.

Elaine dedicated 40 years of her professional life to the Neshannock Township School District. She began her career as a secretary in the main office and later worked in the elementary and high school libraries, as well as the elementary office.

Elaine’s impact was far and wide at Neshannock Township School District. Her family said it best:

“Elaine was a loving mentor and an empathetic listener to the students who walked the halls of NHS. It is difficult to quantify the number of students whose lives she impacted and the depths to which she had a positive and lasting influence on their lives. We know that she loved all the students who crossed her path, and they loved her.”

Elaine was indeed loved by all and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Elaine’s family and friends during this difficult time. ❤️

Elaine Hoffman passed away 2021-11-2 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. This is the full obituary story where you can express condolences and share memories. Services by Central Pennsylvania Cremation Society.

* * A Lancer Legend * *

With great sadness, we announce the loss of a beloved Lancer Legend, Mr. Bob Bleggi -- our stadium's namesake and loyal friend to Neshannock High School for 60 years.

During his tenure at Neshannock, Bob was a teacher, assistant football coach, head football coach, athletic director, site manager, track official, resident historian, and friend. Former players never visited town without stopping at Blegg's house to reminisce.

Although his love for our school district was undeniable, his love for his family was even more evident. Though humble, Bob talked of his wife, Pat, daughter Alexis, and sons Greg and Doug, proudly and lovingly. His grandchildren were the gleam in his eye.

We will pay tribute to Mr. Bleggi at this evening's Senior Night football game.

Robert Bleggi passed away 2021-10-21 in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. This is the full obituary story where you can express condolences and share memories. Services by Ed And Don Decarbo Funeral Home.

Tiffany Fulkerson, NHS Class of 2021, was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to Duquesne University! Tiffany is pursuing a degree in liberal arts, but she has not forgotten those who have provided her with encouragement and inspiration along the way.

NHS English teacher, Mrs. Rachael Moss, made a tremendous impact on Tiffany...one she'll never forget!

As always, we continue to take great pride in our students, staff, and alumni!

Former Duquesne School of Ed. professor Dr. Connie Moss and her daughter Duquesne School of Ed. Alum Rachael Moss (M.S.Ed. Secondary Education) are the type of educators you remember for the difference they make in your life. Mrs. Moss received a letter of heartfelt thanks from her former Neshannock High School student Tiffany Fulkerson.
