2026 Field Day was a success!!!

A huge thanks to all involved: Ms. Crabtree, the field day committee, all parents & guardians who volunteered, the PTA for their involvement, as well as our amazing community sponsors who made it all possible! All of the kids had a BLAST!

Hello everyone! We will be having our last PTA meeting for the school year tomorrow May 5th, at 5:30 PM in the McCleary Library.

Please come out to make your voices heard for how next year's PTA will run! We need any and all paid members to attend for voting in our new 26-27 officers.

Even if you are not a paid member, please come to get an idea of what the PTA does and contributes to the students, parents and staff throughout the year. We hope to see you there!

Staff Appreciation Week is back!

This year, we are asking for various dips and cookies to be donated by parents, businesses, or others in our community. This will help cover two days next week, that will recognize and show appreciation to ALL of our staff members at McCleary Elementary School! If you are able to, please consider attending tonight's Board of Supervisors meeting regarding the upcoming budget for the county.

If CCPS is not able to secure more funding from the county, it could mean cutting important programs, combining classes (instead of having 2 teachers per grade level, only having 1) and getting rid of teaching positions.

If this happens, our children are at risk. Consider showing up now, rather than later when/If these changes go into effect.

Reminder: Craig County Board of Supervisors will have a continued meeting beginning at 5:30PM and will have a budget work session at 6:00PM. Additionally, we will have a public hearing regarding tax rates at this meeting. Agenda below:

The McCleary PTA would like to thank each and every person who came out to our spring Craig County skate night event!

We have thoroughly enjoyed putting these on twice a year, for all students of CCPS and surrounding community. Tons of fun was had by all! We can't wait to host again in the fall.
