The Little Harbour Charitable Foundation has partnered with the Portsmouth School District for a third consecutive year with a $15,200 grant for substance use prevention through its Drug-Free Kids initiative.

Drug-Free Kids supports our local schools’ in strengthening important protective factors that help youth avoid and delay substance use. These programs promote healthy decision-making, safe risk-taking, life-skills development, and meaningful relationships with peers and adults. Students engage in after-school adventure activities, classroom discussions with prevention experts, and student-led public awareness initiatives. The schools’ parent education nights and public information campaigns provide essential family and community support.
