Union Township Police Association would like to thank our community for their gracious support of Angelica and the Covert family.

We have been overwhelmed by the support from so many people, families and businesses in our community and surrounding areas. It truly means a lot to Angelica, her family and all of us.

We also want to give a very special thank you to Randy Conti and the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department for everything they did to help organize the “Night at the Races”, Randy and the members of the Fire Department put a lot of their own personal time into making this event happen and went above and beyond for one of our officers and his family. That is what being part of a community is all about.

We are very lucky to have such a great group of men and women in our community who are willing to step up and help others when they need it. The kindness shown by Randy, the Fire Department, and everyone who helped with this event means so much to us.

Tough times like this really show how great and kind hearted of a community we have in this area. When someone is in need, everyone comes together to support one another, and that is something we should all be proud of and speaks volume with the community that we have.

Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, helped, or simply showed their support for Angelica and the Covert family. It truly means more than you know.
