Looking for a welcoming space to connect with others, find support, and build community? The New Castle Prism Initiative, in collaboration with ARISE, invites you to join our weekly Prism Support Groups.

🕔 Every Thursday | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 1315 E. Washington Street, New Castle, PA 16101

Our monthly schedule includes:
🎲 1st Thursday – Game Night (All Ages)
A fun, relaxed social gathering where you can meet new people, make friends, and enjoy a safe and inclusive environment.

💬 2nd & 3rd Thursdays – Adult Support Group (18+)
A supportive space for LGBTQIA+ adults to connect, share experiences, explore self-care topics, and participate in creative activities.

⭐ 4th Thursday – Teen Support Group (Ages 14+)
A safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ teens and allies to socialize, find support, and build confidence through discussion and creative projects.

At Prism, our goal is simple: to create a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.

Whether you're looking for friendship, resources, support, or simply a place to be yourself, we would love to welcome you.

🏳️‍🌈 A survivor can't access support if they don't feel safe asking for it.

Many LGBTQ+ survivors delay or avoid seeking help because they fear discrimination, being outed, or not being believed.

That's why small actions matter:
💙 Using chosen names and pronouns
💙 Avoiding assumptions about relationships
💙 Using inclusive language
💙 Connecting people with affirming resources

Domestic violence can affect anyone. Creating safer spaces helps ensure that all survivors know support is available when they're ready.
