100 Black Men of Delaware had the opportunity to attend the closing performance of August Wilson’s How I Learned What I Learned at the University of Delaware’s Resident Ensemble Players. 🎭

A powerful evening of storytelling, reflection, culture, and lessons from the life and work of one of America’s most celebrated playwrights.

Thank you to the Resident Ensemble Players for an amazing experience and a great night at the theatre!

An evening of fellowship, good bourbon, and giving back.

Thank you to The Wh***ey Club and our own Dr. Dan Young for hosting an incredible Cigar & Bourbon Tasting at Bardea Garden in support of the Ebony Tie Affair Youth Symposium and our Saturday Leadership Academy.

As Reggie shared, it’s all about creating opportunities and investing in the next generation.

This is how you start a school year. 👏🏾

Today, members of the 100 Black Men of Delaware joined professionals and community leaders from across the city for Suit Up Day at EastSide Charter School, welcoming students back for a new year.

We showed up for one simple reason: to make sure these young people started their day seeing a community of people excited to see them walk through those doors.

A handshake. A high five. A few words of encouragement. Sometimes the smallest moments can leave the biggest impression.

To every student beginning a new school year: we see you, we’re rooting for you, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish.

Here’s to a great year! 📚🎓

Yesterday, 100 Black Men of Delaware was proud to support Born4Brothers & Sisters during the ribbon cutting for its new headquarters.
Our organizations share a commitment to mentorship, education, leadership development, and creating greater opportunities for young people and families. Born4Brothers & Sisters continues to demonstrate what is possible when leaders show up consistently, build trust, and invest directly in their community.
We congratulate Founder and CEO Tramaine Smith, his team, and every partner who helped make this milestone possible. We look forward to supporting their continued mission of building strong youth, stronger families, and stronger communities.
“What They See Is What They’ll Be.”
