They say it takes a village, but we believe it takes presence.

Whether it’s over a chessboard, a canvas, or a barber’s chair, the most valuable thing we can give our youth isn’t just advice, it’s our time. Consistency builds trust, and trust builds futures.

Here’s a look at what “being there” looks like lately:

Brain Power: Showing up for our homework help initiative at the PAL. 📚

Creative Sparks: Getting colorful and inspired with our girls’ art sessions. 🎨✨

Strategy Sessions: Making moves at the Route 9 Library with Chess. ♟️

Strength & Discipline: Mentee visits that (inevitably) end in a push-up challenge. 💪

Fresh Fades, Fresh Starts: Providing free haircuts at the PAL to keep our kids feeling confident. 💈

It’s about more than just mentorship; it’s about showing up, staying consistent, and building a foundation they can stand on.

Happy New Year! 🥳✨ (Yes, we know it’s February… don’t look at us like that!) 🗓️👀

We haven’t been checking the calendar because we’ve been way too busy on the ground! From high-energy school visits to our daily homework help sessions at the PAL, our team has been running at 100mph to start 2026 strong. 🚀📚

We are so proud to see this program expand, and even prouder to see the impact on our youth every single day.
