The Educational Support Professionals (ESP) Advocacy Day at the Legislative event of the Delaware State Education Association proved successful as SJR14 passed with 19 out of 21 senators voting in favor. This bill enables the state to assess the compensation of all 9 ESP groups individually, determining the necessary adjustments to achieve a fair cost of living wage. We are overwhelmed and grateful that we could share our testimony with the Senators. Special appreciation is extended to Chante “Chay” Doran, Fallon Hayes, and DSEA President-elect Tameka Mays for their contributions. Their efforts were commendable, and I am a Proud President. A heartfelt Thank You to Senator Dan Cruce for his amazing effort for leading the charge on SJR14 ❤️.
